In June 2026, Irene Luján Climent, participated in the 5th International Conference ‘The Rights of Nature in the Mediterranean’, held at the Faculty of Law (University of Valencia). She presented her research, “Citizen Participation, Socio-Environmental Vulnerabilities, and Ecofeminist Perspectives for the Protection of Mediterranean Wetlands,” which explores how adaptive governance, ecofeminism, and commons theory can contribute to better protection of these ecosystems in the face of the climate crisis. This research is part of the BlueGreen Governance project.
