The Case Study team of the Valencian Community presents the BlueGreen Governance project at the XII ALACIP Congress in Lisbon

The team of the Valencian Community had the opportunity to present the BlueGreen Governance project at the XII Congress of the Latin American Association of Political Science (ALACIP), which was held in Lisbon, Portugal, from July 17 to 20, 2024.

The presentation was given by the academic Bernabé Aldeguer. In his presentation, titled “Ecological Transition and Coastal Protection: Innovations Institutional and Participatory Governance“, Aldeguer addressed the significant advances of the BlueGreen Governance project and highlighted the urgent need to implement innovative governance models to address environmental challenges contemporaries. During the presentation, the conclusions of the first workshop were shared held at the University of Valencia on June 7, entitled “Land-Sea Governance in the Region of València”.

This event marked a milestone in the discussion on the governance of the Valencian coast, bringing together experts from various institutions and sectors.The XII Congress of ALACIP was consolidated as an essential forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences in the field of political science, allowing projects innovators like BlueGreen Governance achieve greater visibility and recognition in the international community.
