The TerraEnVision event was held from July 8th to 11th, 2024, at the Faculty of Geography and History from the University of València. The conference brought together a diverse range of stakeholders, including scientists, policymakers and industry experts, to exchange experiences and identify new pathways towards sustainability. It was attended by academics and experts such as Emilio Barba, professor of Ecology at the University of València, Stephan Ourevitch, co-founder and partner at ALSO Space or Wouter Vanneuville, expert on climate change.
The event covered a wide range of subjects such as long-term planning and urgent actions to transform and improve socio-ecological systems, urban and agricultural pollution which poses a significant risk to the world’s water supply, nature-based solutions for agriculture, natural areas and solutions for natural hazards. One of the key projects highlighted at the event was the Blue Green Governance project.

The team from the Valencian Community had the pleasure of presenting the BlueGreen Governance project through a poster that also explained the objectives, techniques and results of the WorkShop “Land-Sea Governance in the Valencia Region”. The congress offered the team the opportunity to explain the project to those people who did not know about it and were interested in the changes it could offer in the current and future fight against climate adversities.
