The University of València recently hosted the 5th Summer School for Young Researchers, an event that brought together emerging scholars and professionals from diverse fields. This gathering, organized by the Faculty of Law, provided a platform for young researchers to present their work, engage in interdisciplinary discussions and expand their professional networks.
One of the highlights of the event was the session on “Ecological Transition and Coastal Protection: Institutional Innovations and Participatory Governance” presented by Irene Luján Clemente, who shared insights from the BlueGreen Governance project. It focused on the innovative approaches and participatory methods in land-sea governance, aiming to address the challenges of ecological transition and coastal protection. The presentation delved into its main objectives, highlighting the project’s goals, phases, the tools utilized and the challenges encountered along the way.
The Summer School for Young Researchers proved, again, to be an invaluable experience for all participants, fostering a collaborative environment that encouraged interdisciplinary learning and serving as a platform for young researchers to receive feedback on their work.
